In game theory, zero-sum game stands for a special type of constant-sum game where the players’ choices can neither increase nor decrease the available resources. Irrespective of their strategies, players can only increase their gains at the loss of other players. However it can be established that every zero-sum game for two players has a strategy that is optimal for both players: the planned accidental mix of pure individual strategies.
